The NTVO is a fun event that heralds the unofficial opening of the paragliding season and is held over the Cup 'long weekend' each November. It's aimed at all pilot levels. Pilots may participate in a number of fun, interesting and sometimes whacky tasks. A novice skills clinic will be generally be available for suitable Novice pilots. More experienced pilots may participate in the paragaining competition.
Pilots will accrue individual points. (The judges` decision is not final and all correspondence may be entered into provided its written on the back of $50 notes.)
Prizes
$$$ Thousands of dollars of prizes $$$ Prizes will be awarded to the highest scoring novice and intermediate/advanced pilots. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, fantastic prizes are usually up for graps each year. This past year we had over $2000 worth of prizes to give away including discount wing vouchers, cash, T-shirts...
NTVO T-shirt Competition
This year we are running a competition for the design of the 2010 NTVO T-shirt.

Requirements - All pilots must have:
Current HGFA membership (proof required during registration)
Current Skyhigh membership (membership forms will be available)
A UHF radio.
GPS (for participation in paragaining competition)
Tasks
Weather permitting, the following tasks may be run:
Paragaining Competition
Ballast accuracy drop
Spot landing
Ribbon cut
Ground handling race
GPS relay race
There will also be the opportunity to try the latest equipment from a number of suppliers.
