Apollo BayApollo Bay Fly-in

Our Apollo Bay fly-in is usually held during February. Apollo bay offers some great flying sites and the region is very family friendly. A Millenium Cup round is also usually held on this weekend. So bring your gear and the family. Many pilots have flown for three or four hours at a time during these fly-ins. Some pilots have been known to fly, land on the beach and hit the surf.

Most pilots head down on the Friday night and we usually meet early Saturday morning to plan the day's activities. A group booking is usually made at the local pub for a Saturday night counter dinner.

Accomodation ranges from camping through to five star hotels. The B&Bs are also a popular choice. Some pilots form informal groups and rent a house for the weekend through the local real estate agents.
